The best one ever built. Well above the standard boat spec this is a fast passagemaking world cruiser. Built in USA surpassing ABS stabdards by approximately 30% in all criteria and cetified ABS +A1. This included full length stringers, which the standard boats dont have, a large increase in the fibreglass tabbing at the bulkhead to hull joins, watertight bulkheads front and rear. Knowledgable and weathy owner had this boat well above standard spec. This boat is in lovely condition and has all the right equipment for world cruising. Previously based in the med, having crossed the Altlantic from USA when several 300plus nm days were recorded, the boat was only used forsix months of the year and dry stored and covered for the remainder of the year. The current owners purchased the boat there, recrossed the atlantic, then into the Pacific Ocean and spent a year cruising before bring the boat home, here to Townsville in 2011. As an indication of the high standard of maintenance this boat has enjoyed, the fastidious owners installed and new main engine and genset in 2013, both now only have logged approx 200 hours running. Full history is available. A long, 63ft waterline length provides fast comfortable sailing, this boat having recorded a max speed under sail of 24 knots. New 170HP diese engine in 2013 plus a new genset providing 240VAC power, upgrading from the USA 110Vac. Underwater hull has previously had two coats of epoxy applied to prevent osmosis.
