ADRIATICO EXPLORER 40m a new build from the IURISCI SHIPYARD in Italy. The thought is usage as a research vessel but any option is available and construction in consultation with an owner to suit his usage is desirable. The hull is constructed of high tensile AH36 steel, and the suprerstructure of light aluminium alloy 5083 H321/H111. Construction is to Rina class for ice, such as in Arctic or Antarctic operation. Double bottom tanks for fuel, water, water ballast, sewerage, clean oil, dirty oil and sludge. Electrical power plans are for 3 phase 415vac 50hz and 240vac 50hz. Extensive electronic package as listed for extended at sea remote locations. Length is 40m, beam 10.51 m. Max speed at light displacement 16.5 knots. Range approximately 5000 nm at 11 knots.
